Hop Devil

Quicksilver Victory Hop Devil, FDCH-G

Hop Devil the sheltie (The Hopster) was born in May, 2008. Hop Devil is Scandal’s daughter, and makes Deb smile just about every time she looks at her. She is a great little height dog and loves agility too, but her favorite game is disc. We call her the “Flying Fox.” She belongs to the Treat Rescue Program, and her motto is "No Treat Left Behind!”

Rhys

Quicksilver Rhys Titles: FGDCH DOB: 4/17/02. Best Time: 4.8 Nicknames: Stinkum, Grease, Rhys-r-roni. Loves: Leerie Best Trick: “What is it, Lassie?” Rhys is the product of the Scandal x Ammo breeding and he inherited great qualities from both his fantastic parents. He is a reliable, fast height dog for the team and has a true sheltie personality. He loves sitting on laps, getting lots of love and attention, and doing anything with his Dad. Although lots of people mistake him for a prissy little girl, don’t be fooled----he is tougher than he looks! He’d pretty much have to be, to survive! Rhys’ best buddy is Jack, and he loves to curl up with him to sleep at night. Rhys's favorite flyball handler is his girlfriend, Shelly, who recently joined Fur Fun. Apparently he's quite the "recruiter." Rhys often acts as "height dog for hire" and is a valuable addition to many an open team.

Scandal

Scandal, MAD, JM, RM, FGDCH 70K, W-FD. DOB: 7/1/99. Best Time: 4.3 Nicknames: The Fox, Little Honey (She has her own bus even). Likes: scrounging for food, riding in the car and chasing other cars that pass, sleeping in Hates: BadaBing Favorite Trick: Sneeze Scandal got her name from being the product of an accidental breeding. It took a lot of hard work and training to teach her to play with anything, but all of it paid off. Scandal is a brilliant agility dog, just a few legs short of her ADCH. She has won multiple regional Steeplechase and Grand Prix events as well. She briefly competed in Musical Freestyle and earned her first level title. Scandal was my experiment with clicker training for Frisbee, and the experiment was definitely a success. Although we don’t compete much, Scandal won the Best Small Dog award at the US Disc Dog Freedom Nationals, competing in the Super Open class with some of the best dogs in the nation. Flyball is definitely her favorite sport, though. She was the height dog for our Regular & Multibreed teams which won multiple regional championships. Even now as a veteran, Scandal still turns in great times and gives 100% to beat the dog in the other lane. She is currently the #3 pointed sheltie in NAFA.

Zing

Zing, FD, born February 2004, is from Long Island Shetland Sheepdog Rescue. Zing is also known as "Zinga-binga", "Zing, Zing, Zing, Ricochet Sheltie", and "Little Dude". He is extremely active and definitely needed a job, enter flyball. Zing gets so excited when we get to our training building to practice, he jumps, barks, and grabs my training bag playing tug with it from the van to the building. It has taken several years for Zing to feel confident enough to run at a tournament. Aside from being involved in flyball, Zing is also training in agility and will be learning to track in the near future. For some reason, he always makes Leerie say, "He's a funny little dog". Zing lives with Honor, Treasure, Saiah, Cailean and Carl and Cindy Tier near State College, PA.
